DELTARUNE

IM A HUGE DELTAHEAD. this has been among my biggest fixations for all of my teen years, and one of the few things i actually interact with fandomwise.
i love the actual story obviously, but whats the most special to me about it is the metanarrative and how much it appeals to the kids who watched scaretheater obsessively and tried hunting for Herobrine or other scary game glitch Entity Creepypastas.

UNDERTALE

i love deltarune obviously i love undertale too. while i like deltarune more at this point, undertale will always be very special to me for similar reasons to deltarune.
my favorite character is chara, i really like what they represent metanarratively and i do enjoy narrachara speculation and what it adds to their character even if its dubiously intentional

ADVENTURE TIME

its just such an interesting cartoon franchise to me! the main character is the world of ooo itself and there is always a story to tell for that reason, i think the main show is perfect at blending Dumb Bullshit and actual serious character moments together and i also always like a story thats long as fuuuuuck to finish. my favorite character is fern god i wish they gave fern some filler episodes where he does nothing for 11 minutes

GRAVITY FALLS

another thing thats stuck with me for a good long time, i got into After the show ended and all of the puzzles were solved (although i was there for when book of bill & thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com dropped) and it was kind of my first introduction toa Lot of things that i really love, cipherhunt was my first time ever hearing of an arg! it' s a genuinely good show to go along with all that too
my favorite guy is bill cipher and none of thatHUMAN FAKE BILL CIPHER i like the TRIANGLE GUY. just the triangle.

MSPFA/HOMESTUCK BUT ANDREW HUSSIE DOESNT WRITE IT

i like homestuck concepts (classpecting and Troll Society Worldbuilding for example. Im a Rogue of Heart BTW. Lol.) and i like the characters but oh my god dude i CANNOT overstate how much i dislike andrew hussie's prose and how overly complicated simple things are explained within the actual comic.
this is why i really like mspaint fan adventures, both ones that use original characters or continue the Homestuck Story! my favorite mspfa is autopraxis (which isnt completed enough for me to have a solid favorite character but i do like Josh) and my favorite Homestuck is either caliborn or dirk strider.
i also think the epilogues are the best part of homestuck fuck you (beyond canon is also great but it does have the unfortunate Wall in front of it called hs^2 which makes it very hard to recommend it)

BUGSNAX

one of my favorite games that is always really really funny to explain to people. i'm probably a bit biased on how much i like it because theres Funny Bug Creatures Everywhere but i think its really interesting for a kids 'horror' game that i dont see people talk about enough, partly because i think advertising it as a creature collecting game was a bit of a mistake... it uses Funny Weird Bugsnax to explore the nuances of the characters you meet, which is really what the game is about and i think people going into it thinking the funny bugsnax come first to the narrative is why i've seen a lot of people come out of it thinking the twist was cheap and stupid. anyways my favorite character is Floofty Fizzlebean i freaking love Floofty Fizzlebean

BOJACK HORSEMAN

JUST A REALLY GOOD SHOW!!! very realistic characters and situations, i havent watched it recently enough to give longer thoughts on it but i remember my favorite was todd

HYPNOSPACE OUTLAW

I LOVE. THIS TYPE OF GAME. GIVE ME MORE. the visuals are great, the story is great, i love the 'gameplay' of just checking around the internet its the perfect type of game for someone like me who has a lot of fun just exploring through things. i have it 100%'d on steam the 'thank you' achievment was designed for me specifically

POKEMON

i'm a #casual pokemon fan, i've only beaten some of the modern games and never finished the older ones, but i love the Bugs creatures and i love watching videos of people talking about their shiny hunts and the rng luck factors and all of the more technical side of it. and also the bug pokemon did i say that. i like the bugs. my favorite pokemon is lurantis (which i KNOW isnt actually a bug but is still bug themed) or snom but its hard to choose i love all bug type pokemon. in every game i've played i've tried to beat it with a team of only bug types/bug adjacents

Zampanio.

Zampanio is a very good game. You should play it!

CUCUMBER QUEST

i take pride that i knew about this before i ever knew about undertale... unlike most people... i love this comic so much, its very funny and the plot is an interesting subversion of typical chosen one stories etc etc i like it a lot and am sad that its on a large hiatus but also totally understand why... if you like deltarune i highly recommend giving it a read
my favorites are peridot or the nightmare knight but i do need to reread to see if that still holds true

HFJONE

i would put object shows in general on here but honestly i just Havent been very connected to the osc in a good long time, but hfjone still holds a special place in my heart. i was big on theorizing and obsessing over it during the release of season 2, i met a lot of friends through that
the show itself i still really like also, i think the story is still really compelling and the ending has grown on me a lot over the years, it being made by one person who wasnt even in college yet is also really admirable and it makes me want to create my own stories
my favorite character is airy heres an old theory slideshow i made to argue with people about his design

FROG FRACTIONS

i havent done a deep dive into this yet i havent bought the other things i actually dont know everything about it but its very compelling and funny. one day i will know it all... what was up with that symbol arg... what did that lead to... i dont know........................

LOOK OUTSIDE

KIND OF A POSER. I HAVENT BEATEN THE GAME YET. the reason i havent is because before i got it i looked up literally every single thing you could know about the game i knew all of the secrets all of the characters all of the things which Does make it a little hard to connect to the experience once you actually can play! #OOPS!
the game is so fucking good though the story is so interesting but i dont think i can say anytghing without spoiling it i love it i love it i love it please play it and go in blind unlike me

MANYLAND

ADDED FOR REMEMBERANCE... I MISS YOU SO BAD MANYLAND...
for those who missed it, manyland was a multiplayer game where you could create your own things in pixel art, including items or avatars or signs or so much more. it started in the 2010s which means you could find creations that reflected the internet back then, there was a main hub world that was entirely decorated by the userbase where you could just explore for hours and find things that you could save and bring to your own place. it was so fucking fun. i felt like an archaeologist. my own world became a huge mess of things me and my friends found and i didnt know i could archive it before it shut down so now all that remains is this video tour...

ANIMAL JAM (CLASSIC)

i was an animal jam kid obviously i dont think anyone can really Get Into classic without having an account with history at this point in time
despite my obvious nostalgic connections for it, the visual style the game has is genuinely unmatched and i always go back to it at some point. usually to resell not-in-store items for higher prices than they were sold for #economics

i love ninjago i dont even careeeeeee i dont even Car. is it good? probably no. do i have a lot of fun watching it? Yes Dude.
my favorite season is sons of garmadon which actually isnt somethign that had nostalgic factor for me at the time i loved it genuinely. dont know what i would think now though. my favorite character is harumi

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

I LOVE.DRAGONS. the original movie is still really good and i think the shows are great too (although i will admit i'm not sure if i'd get as into it if i didnt watch the shows as a kid)
the message of 'Fix a pest problem through a solution other than violence' speaks to me a lot as Guy Who Likes Pests, and thats also why i kind of just do not like the 3rd movie at all, its very tonally inconsistent to what the dynamic between humans and dragons has been for the two movies before it

WINGS OF FIRE

i loved this so much as a kid and i still enjoy it now, dragon war and dragon magic and dragon brutal death scenes are just fun. They've always been fun to me. my favorite character is peril
