Hello!! i'm yolk, i'm a 15 year old dude (he/him)
i'm a HUGE arthropod fan, picking a favorite is hard but if i was put under a cliff with an anvil dangling over my head AND someone pointing a gun at my face forcing me to choose i'd probably say every single yellow jacket (vespula)! i'm a pretty big fan of wasps in general, i also really really like moths, cockroaches, pretty much all arachnids, scarab beetles, and lobsters. i'm kind of intermediate level on my bug knowledge (i'm able to identify what general species a bug is by looking at it and i have some scientific names memorized but thats basically it LOL, to someone who doesnt know much about bugs this probably sounds way smarter than it really is but this is actually pretty surface level...) but i'm hoping to learn more this year!!! if you want me to try identifying a bug for you feel free to ask, but please dont send me blurry pictures. i need to see the anatomy of the bug in order to identify it..
invasive/pest bug species are something i find Very fascinating and my plan for once i'm older is to research ways we can coexist with them.. i Hate the mindset of This creature scares/mildly harms me so i need to eradicate it and i want to at least help people widen their Perspective on bugs if i can't do anything else
i'm an artist! i mostly do digital but i've been branching out into more traditional things recently, like sculpting and stuff. i really like designing characters and experimenting with colors!
i like to collect things a lot, my favorite things to collect right now are furbies, skylanders, and street stuff like traffic cones or street signs!

a few notes just in case:
- i suck at holding conversations so sometimes i just randomly Disappear, if i dont respond to you i Promise you i'm not annoyed at you or something. If i'm ever annoyed in a conversation, i'll tell you that i am LOL
- i would appreciate if you have a problem with anything i'm saying or doing in a mutual server or conversation to just tell me straight up. i won't get my feelings hurt, it's worse to just never tell me.. i think honesty when it comes to things like that is very important otherwise you'll just forever stay in a loop of Annoyance (speaking from experience)
- i also suck at starting conversations so i really really appreciate it when people come to me first.. i'm working on getting better at being social but as of now i am NOT that so sorry in advance
