TOP BUGS EVER FROM EACH BUG SPECIES LIST

MOTHS

Apsarasa radians (no common name)

apsarasa radians is part of the family noctuidae, or owlet moths if youre LAME. i cant find too much about their Nature and Stuff, since i've never seen one in person and this bug is pretty Indie Mode but they live in north eastern parts of the himalayas, south eastern asia, the Andamans, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, the Philippines and Sulawesi. i copy and pasted the last part from the inaturalist page for them check that out if you want more Delicious Apsarasa radians Photos. they also apparently like lowland forest areas You can read it yourself on the INATURALIST!!!!!!!!!

Puriri/Pepetuna moth (Aenetus virescens)

awwwwwwww little mormphly! little scroooomtpawwww ltitel scromple ooooh. This is new zealand's biggest moth, the name puriri comes from a common Plant its grub likes to reside in for 6 YEARS. JESUS CHIRST. SLEEPYHEAD MCUH? FUCKING ASSHOLE. WAKE UP. then it emerges and lives only 48 hours What aws your PLAN there buddy. the name pepetuna translates from the maori language to eel moth, because they used the caterpillars as eel bait. Splendid

Indian Lily Moth (Polytela gloriosae)

this guy is also part of the noctuidae family! i didnt actually know that before but i'm not surprised. heh. i'm a bit of a genius. noctuidae has so many banger species. these guys are minor pests for various different lilies, which is how they got their name. imagine being pissed that these things are eating your plants dude You'd have to be such a hater of joy. (DISCLAIMER. THE MOTHS DONT EAT THE LILIES. THATS THEIR IDIOT CHILDREN CATERPILLARS.)

Greater Death's Head Hawk Moth (Archerontia lachesis)

if you're interested in reading this, you most likely have already seen this guy a thousand times before, its a pretty Mainstream Moth in the Moth Community... these are my favorite bugs though, theyre adorable and they also squeak . Theyre like the perfect bug i think. Anyways Facts about Them, theyre FUCKED UP and EVIL. they have the ability to replicate the scent of honey bees so they can infiltrate hives without being noticed and Eats the Honey. This is as a moth too (sidenote, my bad if the image used isnt archerontia lachesis, i at first looked up just death's head hawk moth and kind of chose what specific species i wanted to put here out of the three after to make it fit in with the other entries)

Oberthur's silkmoth (Loepa oberthuri)

theres not too much to say about these, theyre basically just the same as all other giant silkmoths. they hatch, feed, cocoon, get out, mate, and then die. but i really really like how they look. i have no idea who oberthur is and why this is their moth

WASPS

Asian Giant Hornet/Murder Hornet (Vespa mandarinia)

yeah yeah Wasps are EVIL nad RUDE yeah yeah ok bud. Ok bud. Whatever yousa y. Dont care. I like this guy. Murder hornets are like really fucked up dogs, its not their fault they got accidentally imported to places they shouldnt be....... you probably know the most notable thing about them already, which is that their sting Fucks you Up Badly, so i wont really start talking about that. i just like these guys even if theyre fucked up and evil. the coyote peterson video where he gets stung by one, at 10:50 you can see the wasp take a break from Being Angry just so she can clean herself for no reason. i know i said death's head hawk moths are my favorite bug but these guys are also pretty far up there

i made a gif dump of these guys. Love Them

actually i really want to talk about wasps

wasps get such a bad wrap for just being survivors... half of the time they dont even Sting you... your stories about wasps always being jerks and always stinging you are just because you dont notice them when theyre just There and Not stinging you. I like looking for bugs all of the time and i've seen a Lot of wasps just Hanging out, wasps are always around you being Normal... male wasps dont even have stingers, since the stingers are an evolved egg laying tube. Something i've seen a lot of wasps do that i find cute is when they just Cling to a random spot of an object and are Determined to do Whatever to it, one time i saw a wasp that REALLY wanted to get into a thing of some frozen yogurt dressing at a frozen yogurt place, another time i saw a wasp just fixated on one specific part of a car for literally no reason. Wasps are awesome Shout Out wasps. I wish i knew more species to put on this list

FLIES

bee fly (Anastoechus nitidulus)

i can find literally nothing about these guys, they are incredibly underdocumented which SUCKS because they look adorable...
