Starbox is a project i'm working on surrounding sibling duo Willow and Lep. (scroll down to see the character information pages for them and the most reocurring side characters)

Starbox episodes will be short(?) animated videos, following the characters mentioned above. Each episode will have a sort of Monster of the week formula, except instead of a monster it's one of their neighbors and whatever wacky happenings they get involved in. The setting is their little home town Lune Cavings, known for its large cave systems and even more known for being an interdimensional hotspot. Becuase of the Big Lake.

with each episode, there will be a related page made on this website to give more worldbuilding or character details.

the first episode is being animated right now, and hopefully will be completed early 2025. The website partner for it is very close to completion as well

the first episode is definetely more of a test if anything, I made the script for it in at most an hour without drafts and the voicelines were done in one take. This is because wasn't sure if I'd be able to actually go through with completing any of this. I'm pretty confident I will now though, therefor future episodes will have more effort put into scripting and voice acting. Don't ask to voice act I already have voice actors in mind and they are all my friends Sory. If youre my friend and reading this I will contact you soon. Be prepared.

I post updates on animation in form of shitty 3 bitrate gifs and send links to the parts of the website that i finished. Theres an optional ping role for progress updates and I promise to only use it like once every day (twice at most) so you don't get spammed. You also get to see my probably incomprohensible ramblings on characters and world stuff that WILL be shown in future episodes it is NOT required reading to understand the show

The main inspiration for Starbox is oc culture as well as online communities. Both of these things fascinate me a ton, and a lot of the worldbuilding or characterization is inspired by it. A lot of characters in Starbox are either old ocs of mine, old ocs of others who gave them to me, or characters 'adopted' from users on toy.house. Canonically, most of the cast of starbox are from seperate worlds.

the name Starbox is supposed to be just Sandbox but with Star because Space themed Things are Cool IDGAF. The world of Starbox is like a character playplace where I can do literally anything with them and figure out how they would react to it. That's the main fun of the world for me anyway

Starbox is not intended to be SCARY or TRIGGERING in any way, all though it's also not intended to be any sort of rating. Just whatever I want to include.

That being said, there are some things planned/probably added at some point because i like them but also might be triggering to some. those are:

• cartoon violence/body horror
• flashing lights, neon colors, and other eye hurting things. This won't be in the first episode and I don't even really have anything specific planned in mind but i really like those types of visuals so chances are they will be included at some point
• trypophobic imagery
• lots of bugs tons of bugs a lot of them
• kys/kms jokes

if anything else comes up those warnings will be added to this list as well as whatever episode they feature in
